Brewmasters Handy Kitchen Guide How to Brew Different Types of Vinegar; Malt Balsamic Rice Cider Vinegar and More eBook Trevor Hill

I have been familiar with the miraculous powers of vinegar from childhood when my mother used a cloth soaked in vinegar which she applied to our forehead to bring our temperature down. I cured my indigestion problems with Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with honey (delicious) where probiotics failed. I even discovered recently how easy it is to clean my carpets with industrial white vinegar at a fraction of the price of the harsh chemicals you buy at the supermarket that make you wheeze for hours. But I had never thought of using it in my washing to get rid of stains and whiten until I read this book.

I also found out a lot of other incredibly useful applications, in addition to the recipes provided.

I was curious how this miraculous product was brewed. How amazing that the origins of vinegar date back to 500BC. It makes you wonder about the creative powers of the imagination that prompts a human being to try the unimaginable. I guess that's the major difference between us and animals.

I never knew vinegar could be made from so many different ingredients. Knowing the subtle differences gives you a better judgement as to which vinegar to use in your cooking for an impressive result.

A fascinating book, however when I read that some vinegars take 12 to 25 years to mature , I wondered if the author should have added a reminder to the reader to make a provision in their will for such a delicacy, as some people may not live to reap the rewards. Nonetheless, I am giving it a 5 star.

im really a big fan of the 'make it yourself' i already tried some of the vinegars and they where great. good easy to work with and still space to improvise
I was really hoping for more. This book was amazingly short in length and short on information. It was not very detailed or specific in content or "how to". I am still looking for a good book on making vinegar. I would not waste any money on this book.
The book was quite a bit smaller than I anticipated, and it looks very homemade. The substance was still great quality, and it's nice to have on hand. I just personally don't think it's worth the asking price.
I've been using vinegar for things like keeping my kids fevers down and cleaning my oven by I never considered making my own. This is a full guide to all the different types of vinegar you could ever imagine and it has a bonus...recipes to which use your vinegar! Now to decide which one to try first...
This is a short guide on how to brew vinegar, malt, balsamic vinegar + a few others.

It is a short read that only took me a hour or so to get through, however I did enjoy it and found it provided a nice introduction to vinegar. Don't go expecting a 'bible' or tome here, but what you will find is a refreshinging good read with practical tips you can take away that are helpful to the beginner. This is my third book in this series and I have heartily enjoyed them all.
This is not a book, it is a brochure. No, it could be described as a pamphlet. Or even l leaflet left on your car windshield. Besides being about 20 pages long, it has NO useful information that can't be found for free elsewhere on the internet. I feel really ripped off. It was just $7, but still, I expected more than something I could have knocked out after 2 hours of internet research and a half hour of writing. Save your money and do your own research.
As a married woman of 39 years, I've certainly done my share of cooking. Because cooking can be monotonous, I like to find new things to try. "How to Brew Different Types of Vinegar" caught my eye so I bought it.

I found this book to be fascinating--not only concerning the history of vinegar, but how you can make raisin vinegar and even pineapple vinegar! So many kinds can be attempted when you learn the basic process and are willing to be patient.

Expand your horizons in your kitchen and give your tastebuds a unique experience with this one!
